If you've been following our real estate market at all over the past couple years, you've heard the term "low inventory" quite a bit. Even if you haven't, let me assure you:   There aren't enough homes for sale right now.   In the industry, we often measure inventory in the number of months it would take to sell all the homes currently on the market. January is typically the month with the highest inventory (which held true for the past two years). Take a look at where our numbers are right now in comparison.
