Ladd’s Addition is one of the oldest residential districts in Portland, Oregon.
It is located near downtown in the southeast part of the city. The neighborhood has a unique layout, it is a diagonal “wagon wheel” arrangement, including four small diamond-shaped rose gardens and a central traffic circle surrounding a park. There are many styles and sizes of homes, and in 1988 the entire neighborhood is designated a Historic district, and homeowners hold their properties open once a year. Homes for sale are often rare in this small neighborhood, but come in all sizes from small bungalows to large formal houses.
